May Yateem is a co-founder of People’s Collective; with a background in fine arts and graphic design. May first started her venture into the advertising world as an intern at Promoseven. For the last year she has worked at Miracle Graphics and TBWA. May comes from a family of entrepreneurs and took that as motivation to start up a collective with her partner Tahani Abbas in March 2013.
Ryan Andrews is an American-English art historian based in Bahrain. His research is based around the use of computer applications in art history, particularly the use of 3D software for critical analysis. He specialises the work of Piet Mondrian. He studied history of art and digital humanities in London and is a committee member of CHArt (Computers and the History of Art Group), a non-affiliated UK based forum for the discussion and promotion of digital research in the arts.

Born in Kazakhstan Aigerim Akenova has achieved remarkable education in Fashion & Textile Design in Italy and United States. It allowed her to build a broad network of contacts and deepen vision in fashion industry.
Her talents and creativity were recognized by Milano Network Design and were awarded with a scholarship for MA in New Tech.style Design. Throughout her Master Degree she has participated in research of innovative and sustainable design solutions in collaboration with most leading manufactures of Italian and International Textile Industries.
In 2011 Aigerim has been invited as a visiting lecturer at Kazakh National University of Arts. Her enthusiasm has led to create first textile library as well as to subscribe to WGSN by becoming the first educational Institution in Kazakhstan to work with global trend-forecasters. With her help and supervision there was established a Memorandum with Istituto Marangoni.
While actively traveling and participating in global events she always keeps developing herself. Today Aigerim is enjoying diversity of cultures and experiences. She consults and designs for fashion brands in the Middle East and contributes for major fashion and lifestyle publications in Kazakhstan.
